Winter warmer for Childline
Liz Dean-Stevens, head of fundraising, NSPCC Scotland asked supporters to wear their brightest and warmest bobble hats this winter, post photos online and donate £4 by texting BOBBLE to 70744.
“People can also show their support for ChildLine by knitting and selling their own bobble hats and showing them off using #bobblehatheroes on social media,” she said.

Hide AdDame Esther Rantzen the founder of ChildLine encouraged everyone to join in by making a small donation this winter saying: “£4 funds the cost of one call to ChildLine at Christmas which can be the toughest time of the year for some children.
‘‘For many children, this season is a happy time but, for others, it can be lonely and upsetting.”

ChildLine is the UK’s free, confidential 24-hour helpline and online service for children in danger or distress. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise and protect children and young people. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC.
