Record year for charity Bluebell Walk
The assistance dog charity held its 10th annual Bluebell Walk last weekend, with supporters of the charity taking to parks across the country – including a scenic southside route.
The national event raised a record £6,000, which will go towards training more dogs to help disabled service users with everything from dressing to loading the washing machine.

Hide AdScotland fundraising organiser Dale Gormley said of the Pollok event: “We were thrilled with the support.
“I can’t thank everyone enough for their help and support for Canine Partners.
“The money raised will make a very real difference to someone’s life and I think everyone had a great time into the bargain.”
But it wasn’t just the walkers having fun, as staff and visitors at the Burrell Collection were also treated to a visit from pups-in-training Lester, Ocean, Tinto and Perry.
Dale added: “We had such great fun and a really warm welcome – it’s safe to say we’ll be back.”
