Onesie fundraiser for community causes
Mearns Primary pupils donned their onesies recently in aid of East Renfrewshire Good Causes.
The kind-hearted kids raised an impressive £866 with their Onesie Day, and charity founder Russell MacMillan told The Extra: “This money will be spent on cases within the area that these pupils come from.
“Having a great school like Mearns Primary at the heart of our community bodes very well for all our futures.”
Principal teacher Angela O’Connor added: “The children thoroughly enjoyed Onesie Day and were delighted with the total amount raised to help people in our area.”
