Contemporary art at Lillie
The Lillie Art Gallery is the only Scottish venue this year to be showing ‘Futureproof 2016’, which is an annual showcase of new talent in photographic image-making selected from across Scotland’s photography and fine art degree courses. On display from July 9 to August 11. In association with Streetlevel Glasgow.
There will also be an exhibition of drawings and paintings by St Petersburg artist Elena Knox called ‘Hide-and-Seek’ from July 9 to August 11.

Hide AdHer work began as an attempt to portray the complexity of a child’s life, which is shaped and controlled by adults. It focuses on the influence of the environment on the vulnerable and sensitive child’s nature.
You can also see ‘Box of Delights’ - ceramics and applied art from the gallery’s permanent collection from June 4 to August 12.
