NHS Lanarkshire aims to have best healthcare system in the country
So it announced after the board’s most recent meeting, when the subject of last year’s damning report by Healthcare Improvement Scotland was again discussed.
In a statement issued after the meeting, NHS Lanarkshire said that its vision was to achieve “transformational improvement” in the provision of safe, person-centred and effective care for patients and for patients to be confident that this was what they would receive.

Hide Ad“We know that, following an intensive review by Healthcare Improvement Scotland of NHS Lanarkshire’s acute adult patient services, serious failings and unacceptable practice were identified,” said NHS Lanarkshire.
